Our Story
Founded in 2022 by three women ADHD self-advocates, the ADHD Advocacy Society of BC is dedicated to
improving awareness, access, and support for individuals with ADHD across British Columbia.
Through listening to families and individuals, we consistently hear about gaps in services and support across education, healthcare, social services, workplaces, and other systems, as well as the broader under recognition of ADHD as a serious disability. These gaps extend beyond individuals, affecting education, employment, relationships, and overall community well-being.
By listening, advocating, and connecting, we strive to create a more inclusive and supportive environment for the ADHD community in British Columbia.
